Maureen Diem is one of the top QuickBooks consultants in the country.  She's been working with QuickBooks since 1992 and joined Intuit's ProAdvisor Program in its charter year, 1999.  She opened the doors of her own QuickBooks consulting practice, Emerald QuickBooks Consulting, Inc., in 2000 and has never looked back.  Her clients love her friendly Texas manner, and her vast expertise and passion for QuickBooks shines through as she easily solves tough problems such as clean-ups, conversions, reconstructions, out-of-balance accounts, computer challenges, system integrations, and much more.  Maureen's positive attitude is contagious, and you'll be saying "I'll have what she's having" as soon as you meet her.

Maureen serves a wide variety of small and mid-market businesses in varying industries locally in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, nationally through her remote consulting and bookkeeping services, and internationally through her QuickBooks programming partner which offers custom QuickBooks applications using the Intuit SDK (Software Developer's Kit).

When she's not working on QuickBooks, Maureen is enjoying her menagerie of eight amazing pets: two Australian shepherds, two cats, and four green-cheeked conures, which are small parrots. She got many of these pets from her CLIENTS(!), so if you become a client, Maureen wants you to know she CANNOT have any more pets!

How "Emerald" got its name:            

Emerald comes from the city of dreams - Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz. Her slogan is "Where the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true." Maureen realizes her dream every day by having her own very successful QuickBooks consulting business. Within this dream, she helps others start and grow their own dream businesses. The rainbow in her logo is a visual reminder to you of YOUR DREAM. Maureen is also Irish, so the Emerald and rainbow go hand in hand with the country of her ancestors.

Audrey Duke

Audrey is the inventory wizard at Emerald. Previously she worked for a large distribution company to help them automate their small businesses clients' inventories. In that assignment, she enabled the independent small businesses opportunity to keep up with the large drug store chains. Audrey was so impressed with Maureen's and QuickBooks' ability to help non-accountant business owners get the reporting they need, she joined Emerald so she could help clients experience what she had experienced.  

Audrey is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and in her time off, is a philanthopist and missionary. She has served on a number of non-profit boards and loves serving in the community, helping others who have less than she does.

Annette Williams

Annette joined Emerald in 2005 and has been a Certified Pro Advisor since 2005. She had previously served as controller of a mid-sized company in the Dallas area. Annette is a wonderful person to work with, having an amazing "can do" attitude, and won't quit until the job is done. She personally was responsible for "cleaning up the books" of a non-profit in the area, which was about to lose its large grant funding. This would have closed its doors, but Annette brought it all together and literally "saved the day".
